Applications
This gentle, safe and soothing elixir is designed to help your child cope with the stresses and anxiety of new experiences such as the first steps at school. Many children find it quite unsettling to be apart from their parents, especially Mother, and in a strange new environment. Although children usually adapt quickly and will soon come to enjoy their schooldays, First Steps offers protection at this crucial formative time in their lives and gives them the best possible start. This special formula is designed to soothe fears, to give confidence and a sense of security away from home, to promote healthy integration into a new social group, and to help create a calm state of mind that is receptive to the learning environment. For best results we suggest that this elixir should be started about two weeks before school begins. First Steps will also offer calming protection to children in any other new or worrying situation, such as a trip to the doctor or dentist. Parents take note: First Steps also helps you if you are over-anxious about your child being away from you.
How to Use
Only a very small dosage is required. Add 4 drops 4 times daily or 8 drops twice daily, if more convenient, to a little water or other drink such as fruit juice. Alternatively, drops can be taken orally direct from the dropper. Best results are obtained from steady, consistent dosage over a period of time. The elixirs are preserved in organic grape alcohol, but alcohol ingestion at the recommended dosage is extremely minimal and the remedies are safe even for the smallest baby. To avoid the use of alcohol, add 2-3 drops from your bottle into a small container (e.g. a 10ml dropper bottle), top up with clean mineral water, and dose as normal, keeping refrigerated when not in use.
Safety Data
Keep out of the reach of young children.
