Applications A valuable oil with a fresh, sweet, elevating scent, grapefruit oil brings vitality and lustre to mind and body. In common with the oil of other citrus species, grapefruit will boost the immune system against chills, colds, flu and other infectious illnesses. It is also of great value as a relief for muscular and physical discomforts, an enriching emollient for the skin and a fragrant, uplifting support for the mind.
Grapefruit oil will cleanse and freshen congested and oily skin, reduce acne and restore optimum tone to slack, tired tissue. It makes an invigorating muscle preparation in cases of fatigue and stiffness, assists the formation of healthy muscle tone and it may work to lessen fluid retention and cellulitis by stimulating the lymph glands.
For those overcome with depression, headaches, nervous exhaustion or general stress, grapefruit can instil a sense of optimism and peace. |
