About the Product
In the Middle Ages it was believed that binding the brow with ivy leaves would prevent intoxication. Taverns would carry the sign of an ivy bush over their doors, to indicate the excellence of the liquor supplied within: hence the saying, 'Good wine needs no bush'.
Throughout the ages it has been regarded as the emblem of fidelity and was woven into marriage wreaths.
