About the Product
Lady’s mantle is a clump-forming perennial with woody rootstock and finely toothed kidney-shaped leaves and clusters of tiny yellow-green flowers that is commonly found in alpine pastures. The plant owes its latin name to the Alchemists who gathered the roseate drops on its leaves in their quest to change base metal into gold. Lady’s Mantle is helpful in regulating the feminine cycle. It reduces the unpleasant symptoms of difficult menstrual cycles due for example to the onset of puberty or the menopause. It is also helpful in cases of mild diarrhoea and can make an effective gargle for sore throats. It has venotonic properties, which makes it useful to treat vascular problems. Lady’s Mantle is astringent to the skin and helps to protect newly formed elastin fibres.
