How to Use
The German Commission E monograph suggests 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 grams) of the herb be taken as a medicinal tea. To make a tisane or herbal tea Steep 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 grams) of the herb in 1 cup (250 ml) of boiling water for fifteen minutes. Three cups (750 ml) can be consumed each day. The dried lavender buds have a soft floral scent and can be used to fill a muslin bag to make a Bath Tea or to make lavender bags to fragrance clothes. However, as Tortue Rouge lavender buds are of finest organic quality, having been hand picked and dried remote locations it seems a shame not to use them for cooking or for tisane or for medicinal purposes !
