Applications A regenerating oil ideal for treating dry and damaged skin, rose hip is used as a base oil for many cosmetic creams and lotions. It is particularly effective at encouraging the growth of healthy new tissue in cases of burning, scarring, cuts and eczema. Those with mature, weathered or excessively dry skin will find that rose hip oil helps to restore lost moisture and condition.
Taken internally in appropriate doses, the oil is thought to inhibit haemorrhaging and is a notable preventative of scurvy on account of its exceptional vitamin C content |

About the Product The hips contain about twenty times as much vitamin C as oranges. They have a tonic effect and the seeds were once used as a diuretic. Rosehip seed oil is highly regarded as a treatment to prevent stretch marks.
